 As a Homestead Unlimited, Inc. caregiver/companion, you are expected to deliver the utmost care and respect to the client. When you are in their homes, you become part of their family and you are expected to care for them as you would care for someone in your family. While in the client’s home, you should perform your duties to the best of your ability. You are responsible for providing non-medical care for the client. This can range anywhere from cooking & cleaning to recreation & companionship. The care you provide to the client is personal and one-on-one. You should be compassionate towards the client and his or her needs. Homestead Unlimited, Inc.’s focus is on the client; and we expect that of our caregivers, too. Our caregivers provide the opportunity to help and assist our elderly clients remain at home.
